What to expect
We reply within one to two days. If you have a specific date in mind, it helps to mention it so we can check availability.
All replies come by email. Please check your inbox — and occasionally your junk folder — after submitting.
Enquiries welcome from individuals, pairs, and small groups. Larger group requests are also considered — simply describe what you have in mind.
Common questions
Do walks run in all weather?
Light rain is part of the shrine experience. In cases of heavy rain or adverse conditions, we contact you in advance to reschedule.
How far in advance should I book?
A few days is usually enough. For busy periods like spring and autumn, a week or more in advance is advisable.
Is previous knowledge of Shinto required?
Not at all. Walks are shaped around wherever you are starting from, and the guide explains everything in plain, unhurried language.
What types of enquiries are accepted?
Booking requests, general questions about the walks, questions about the shrines themselves, and requests for private or custom arrangements are all welcome.
